Hey, Alex, my name is Michael Eaton, and while I live in Texas, I am a longtime friend and supporter of George Allen and was an early supporter of Bob's when he ran for AG. My son, Mike, is a freshman at Hampden-Sydney and worked for the McCain campaign and has been around GOP politics his whole life (I was a staffer for GOP Sen. John Tower and GOP Rep. Jim Collins years ago). Mike is anxious to be involved as a volunteer for Bob in any way he can. Alex, I hope your foot is doing better, We had a great town hall with Boucher this past Thursday. We had appox 1500 there in Abingdon with appox 3/4 of us not supporting the health care bill and the panel he had was 4 to 1 with us. We had pinned him down to saying he would not support a public plan. With his yes vote on cap and trade and his no vote (the last one to vote on the committee after he knew it would past) on the health care bill. We need to find someone to run against him next year. I heard that we might have some people that might be interested. I hope so.
